The same rights as your British neighbours — not a favour, a signed agreement.
A free information service for EU, EEA and Swiss citizens and their families in the United Kingdom. We map the network of institutions that serves you — regulators, watchdogs, advice services, embassies, councils — and show you your route through it. We hold no data, take no cases, and ask you for nothing.
Start with your situation
-
I live in the UK
You are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen — or a family member — already making a life here. Everyday-life information, category by category: status, work, money, housing, health, school, driving and more, with the official links that actually matter.
Living in the UK -
I'm moving to or visiting the UK
You are still in the EU and planning a move or a visit. What to arrange before you travel — the ETA, your passport, healthcare cover — and what to sort out after you arrive.
Moving or visiting -
My rights were ignored
An employer, landlord, council, school, bank, energy supplier or public service got it wrong — or you were mistreated just for being who you are — and you need to know who actually has the power to help. Organised by problem, not by organisation chart, with real cases showing it can be done.
When rights go wrong
Why this service exists
Millions of European citizens have made the UK their home. Their right to live, work, study, rent, use the NHS and be treated equally is protected — for many by the Withdrawal Agreement, and for all by ordinary UK law. But rights on paper are not always rights in practice. When something goes wrong, people are usually left to work out alone, often in a second language, which of dozens of institutions can actually fix it.
That is the gap this service fills. There is a whole network of institutions built to serve you — official regulators, independent watchdogs, free advice services, embassies, charities. Most people never find the right one, or find it too late. We map that network, keep the map current, and explain each route in plain English. Nothing more — and nothing less.
How it works
-
Map
We map the network of institutions that serves EU citizens in the UK — who does what, who has real power, and how to reach them — and we check the map regularly.
-
Explain
We explain your rights and the systems around them in plain English, with short sentences and no jargon, because many of our readers use English as a second language.
-

For every problem, we point to the institution with the power to act — and to real, published cases showing that route has worked before. We do not give immigration advice ourselves; that is a regulated activity.
We hold no data — by design. This site has no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no accounts. We do not take case reports and we keep no records about anyone. If you email us, we will point you to the right organisation and then delete the exchange. Read the two-minute privacy page.
